Improvisation (Anchor)
double seconds steel pan
This composition began as an improvisation I did during a late-night steel pan practice session while I was attending Indiana University. It was premiered by Allison Littlejohn, who I met at SōSI and commissioned me to transcribe it, at the University of Akron. This is the recording of my original improvisation.
Crown Heights Medley
(bonus piece, if you have time)
This is an arrangement I made of two Hasidic Jewish melodies for steel band. MIDI recording.
